Doutor Coffee is a Japanese retail company that specializes in coffee roasting and coffee shop franchising. It was founded by Toriba Hiromichi.

The new concept for the new branch of Doutor is a European-style coffee shop. The cafe has a stylish and relaxing atmosphere, good for Instagram pictures, and enjoyable for coffee lovers. The target is tourists and men in their 20s and 30s who like coffee. Since the cafe is designed for men, I chose black and yellow for the overall color scheme of the cafe.

The reason why I designed this cafe branch to be in a European style is because of the origin of Doutor. They are inspired by European coffee, so they make their coffee using a technique called "direct-fire roasting." In addition, the font that I designed is inspired by coffee beans.

I made 5 mock-ups for the packaging. Considering the atmosphere, target, and color scheme of the cafe, I designed it into a fashionable and minimalistic design. There are many types of coffee, so I made two coffee bean bags as samples, Robusta and Arabica. There is a pattern on the side of each bean bag. The pattern was designed by imagining the taste and smell of beans. Also, the characteristics of the beans are written on the back.

Also, I made hot and cold cups. The cup for the cold beverages has a transparent logo so that you can see the liquid while drinking. I also wanted to match the hot cup with the coffee bean bag, so I made it in a similar design. The last is the cup sleeve. The cup sleeve has a letter-only and minimal design.
